"The Field At the Old Farm" , by Joy Nichols, captures a Chesterville, Maine scene of an old farm field as autumn takes over the landscape. The photo was edited to have a painterly effect.

I am an artist and photographer obsessed by creativity. My artwork has primarily been in pencil, colored pencil,oil,acrylic and watercolor painting. I love to capture the beauty around me with photography. At two I was drawing, in high school I was able to major in an art concentration of study, and later graduated from college with a B.A. in Fine Art. I love the countryside, the woods and nature.
