Although I live in Maine, going to the ocean usually requires a day trip. I love it... the smell of the air, the pound of the surf, the ocean breeze in my face, the cry of the gulls... and the scenery. The rocks are so often intriguing. Their patterns,textures and colors can draw my attention and my camera. One day while at the coast busily taking pictures of boulders there I snapped the basic photo which was manipulated to make this design.Watercolor process and texture were also added to the design. If one looks closely, especially in the corners it can be seen that the image is derived from a photo of coastal rocks! Enjoy!
