Artist's Description
This watercolor painting shows a view from the west side of Northeast Carry at Moosehead lake in Maine. The mountains shown include: Katahdin (looking small, on the left), Norcross, Lobster, possibly Spencer, and I think both little and big Kineo. The day I drew the sketch for this I took off on a snowmobile by myself. After sketching till almost sundown, the snowmobile wouldn't start. Camp was at least a 3 mile walk away, but that's another story.
