Night time can bring the sounds of crickets, frogs, a loon in a nearby pond, a distant owl, maybe the coyotes cry to the forest. Morning wakes with many birds rejoicing with another day. Sometimes all is quiet. A hush falls that is so deep one almost sinks into it. "Woodland Hush" by Joy Nichols almost captures those quiet times. This set of woods is in Livermore Falls, Maine. The photo has been edited with watercolor process and texture.
