Night time can bring the sounds of crickets, frogs, a loon in a nearby pond, a distant owl, maybe the coyotes cry to the forest. Morning wakes with many birds rejoicing with another day. Sometimes all is quiet. A hush falls that is so deep one almost sinks into it. "Woodland Hush" by Joy Nichols almost captures those quiet times. This set of woods is in Livermore Falls, Maine.
