Early in the winter, one afternoon my husband and I spent the afternoon trekking through the woods in Vienna, Maine. The snow was not too deep, the day was not too cold -- just right. Although a gray day, the delightful newly fallen snow brightened the brown landscape. Photograph, "A Little Bit Of Snow", by Joy Nichols, was taken along the edge of a field, looking back into the quiet woods.
I am an artist and photographer obsessed by creativity. My artwork has primarily been in pencil, colored pencil,oil,acrylic and watercolor painting. I love to capture the beauty around me with photography. At two I was drawing, in high school I was able to major in an art concentration of study, and later graduated from college with a B.A. in Fine Art. I love the countryside, the woods and nature.
