The design for "Frosty Swirl Blue Ice", by Joy Nichols, started out as a photograph taken one morning on frosty windows when the outdoor temperature hovered at -18 below. Later the photograph was highly manipulated and processed with watercolor process and texture to give it an artistic effect.
