"Jerusalem Artichokes" is my 9x12 acrylic painting on canvas. On numerous occasions I have noticed these beautiful flowers growing near old houses and old farmhouses. The tubers are edible. I suspect they were often planted for food and beauty. One day while traveling a side road I noticed the most wonderful display of them I had ever seen. The pictures I took that day were my reference for this painting. I love their summery brightness.
