"Winter Brook". by Joy Nichols, a peaceful, tranquil, snowy, December photographic image of a brook and it's surroundings draped in snow was captured right after a morning snowfall in Maine. This photo was edited as digital art with the addition of a watercolor process and a decorative border.

I am an artist and photographer obsessed by creativity. My artwork has primarily been in pencil, colored pencil,oil,acrylic and watercolor painting. I love to capture the beauty around me with photography. At two I was drawing, in high school I was able to major in an art concentration of study, and later graduated from college with a B.A. in Fine Art. I love the countryside, the woods and nature.
