Winter Sundown, photograph by Joy Nichols, shows a beautiful sunset viewed from Rt. 133 in Jay looking across the snowy field towards the tree line. Winter has staked it's territory,Christmas is coming and the snowfall has begun to capture the landscape in it's grasp. One can be mesmerized by the filigree of branches holding up the quickly darkening evening sky and the beautiful patterns of evening light and shadow falling across the snow.

I am an artist and photographer obsessed by creativity. My artwork has primarily been in pencil, colored pencil,oil,acrylic and watercolor painting. I love to capture the beauty around me with photography. At two I was drawing, in high school I was able to major in an art concentration of study, and later graduated from college with a B.A. in Fine Art. I love the countryside, the woods and nature.
